About VAIR LTD, build infrastructure and CI tooling A company seven months old, described accurately.
VAIR LTD was incorporated in England and Wales on 1 January 2026. It has shipped nothing publicly. This page states what the company is, what it will not claim, and how to tell it apart from the other businesses trading on the same four letters.
01 / Position
What the company does
Two activities, and no third one hiding behind a vague word.
VAIR LTD works on build infrastructure: the caching, scheduling and reproducibility layer that sits between a repository and its CI runners. That layer is where most of the time a development team loses to CI actually goes, and it is unusually resistant to being fixed by adding machines.
The company does two things. It develops its own build tooling, which is currently pre-release. And it takes a small number of consulting engagements on other teams' build systems, which is how the tooling gets tested against builds we did not write.
The scope register, the intended configuration format and the reference architecture are published on the specification page. They are dated and carry a revision letter. When they change, the letter changes.
02 / The constraint
Why there is no customer list on this site
Most sites in this sector carry a row of customer logos, a figure for hours saved and a line about the teams that rely on them. Those devices work because they are true for the companies using them. For a company incorporated on 1 January 2026 with nothing publicly released, every one of them would be a fabrication, and a checkable one.
So this site does the other available thing: it publishes the specification. A dated scope register, a named set of technical constraints, the configuration format being designed against, and a schematic of the intended system. Those are all verifiable today, by reading them. Precision about a problem is earnable on day one. A benchmark is not.
Nothing on this site describes work delivered to a client, because no work has been delivered to a client. If that sentence stops being true, this section changes and the revision letter moves.

05 / Name
The word, and the businesses it is not
Vair is the heraldic term for the pattern of alternating bell shapes that represents squirrel fur in a coat of arms, and it is the French word for the fur itself. The mark used on this site is a pair of those bells, tessellated. It is a legitimate, non-derivative device, and it is the reason the company is called what it is called.
"Vair" is also a crowded stem. Several unrelated businesses use it. To save anyone the search: VAIR LTD is not connected with any of the following, and does not operate in their sectors.
- Vair IT Technologies Pvt Ltd (vairit.com), an Indian web and software development agency.
- VAIRKKO (vairkko.com), a United States workforce and training management platform.
- The Vair Companies, Inc. (vaircompanies.com), financial modelling training and advisory.
- VAIR Networks (vairnetworks.com), a managed technology provider.
- Vair Corporation, a United States manufacturing business.
- vairified.com, building-performance inspection and certified raters.
Where this site needs to be unambiguous it uses the compound: vairworks, or VAIR LTD with the company number attached. In legal contexts the registered name is used and nothing else.
